General Information

OPT Binoculars strives to keep our entire product line in stock at all times. On occasion there will be an item out of stock due to a backorder from the manufacturer. In these instances, we will get in contact with you immediately with lead times and options. In most cases OPT will be happy to split orders and OPT will cover all additional shipping expenses.

Most orders will ship from OPT the same business day if placed prior to 2:00pm Pacific Time or will ship the next business day from OPT if placed after 2:00pm Pacific Time. If for some reason we are out of stock on an item, we will be in contact with you via phone or e-mail as quickly as possible. The vast majority of items on this website will ship from OPT, yet there are a few items that will drop-ship directly from the manufacturer.

Free Shipping

OPT Binoculars offers free shipping on orders over $100. Free shipping is applicable to orders shipping to the continental United States via UPS Groundtrack or USPS. OPT will attempt to provide free shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and other areas, but this will not be possible for all orders. If we are unable to provide free shipping to these areas, we will discount the shipping by the amount of the standard shipping costs to the continental US. In these instances, you will be notified by out internet sales team via e-mail or phone with the shipping costs.

Domestic Orders

OPT Binoculars will ship all of our products to destinations within the United States. We offer UPS Groundtrack, 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air options to most areas within the 50 states. We also offer USPS shipping for PO boxes and other orders where UPS does not deliver, including APO and FPO addresses and US Territories.

We have a UPS Calculator on every product on the website so you can quickly calculate the various shipping options and costs. Simply click on the “Shipping Quote” tab on the product page, enter your zip code in the box and click the “Get Shipping Estimate” button.

If you wish to calculate shipping costs for an entire order, you can put the products in your cart and then click on “Proceed to Checkout”. Login to your account or create a new account. Once you have entered your information you will be brought to the shipping option page. This page will show the exact shipping costs for the entire order.

International Orders

OPT Binoculars is pleased to support the international community. We can ship most of our products overseas, yet there are some restricted items that we cannot ship outside of the United States. Some of these restrictions are complicated, so if you have any questions, please feel free to call us or send an e-mail to internetsales@optBinoculars.com.

OPT uses multiple companies to ship products internationally. Our main carrier is UPS. UPS has two international shipping options, Express (2 to 3 day delivery) and Expedited (3 to 5 day delivery). UPS shipping is very accurate and extremely fast, but is more expensive than some alternative options. OPT also offers USPS Global Express and Airmail Post for those looking for less expensive shipping options.

OPT now features an automatic shipping calculator for international orders shipping via UPS Express or UPS Expedited. It will also calculate UPS Worldwide Standard to Canada. As mentioned above, UPS shipping is very fast and reliable, but it is typically more expensive than USPS. To receive a shipping quote for UPS, simply add the items to your cart, log-in to your customer file (or create a new file if you are new to the OPT website) and proceed to the shipping page. The UPS prices will be automatically calculated.

We still offer USPS shipping, but at this time an automatic calculator is not available. If you would like a USPS shipping quote, please feel free to send us an e-mail before placing an order and we will provide an exact shipping quote. Please be sure to let us know what products you are interested in and your shipping information, including country and postal code. You may also place an order and choose "Contact me with less expensive shipping options" and we will e-mail you an exact shipping quote.
